Is the DC power socket repairable? - Yes the DC socket is repairable, but in some cases the DC socket can damage the tracks on the motherboard.

Is the repair covered under the £35.00 fixed fee repair charge? - No Laptop DC socket repair is a long process and takes up the time of the Engineer for several hours in this time we are only working on your laptop.

The Engineer will then spend time testing the connection after the repair is complete, to check the laptop is charging correctly. The charge for DC socket repair is £75.00.
